substring javascript

JavaScript String Substring() Method

Substring Javascript is an inbuilt function in which is used to extraction the given string from start index to end index and returns the new sub string.
Note: Indexing start from zero (0).

This method extracts the characters in a string between two specified indices, not including “end” index itself.

If starting position is greater than end position, perform swap between two arguments, such as str.substring (5, 2) == str.substring (2, 5).

If either start index or end index is less than 0 or negative, it consider that index as 0.
