Add google analytics to WordPress Google Analytics is a popular tool to analyze the details about visitors that comes on site. It helps to determine from which country most traffic comes. But to determine the traffic details of the website, we need to put google analytics code (tracking code) in the header of the website.
In this post, we will learn How to Add Google Analytics Code in WordPress Blog.

Create Google Analytics Account

STEP 1: Go to the Google Analytics
STEP 2: Click here on Sign Up or Start here. (Sometimes Start here button shows).

Step 3: After Clicking on Sign up, This screen comes.

Account Name: In Account name, you can fill any name that you want to give.
For Example DEVELOPERHELPS

Website Name: In Website name, you can fill the website name that you want to give.
For Example DEVELOPERHELPS

Website URL: In Website URL, you will fill the website URL that you want to give.
For Example www.developerhelps.com , You can select http or https on the basis of your site.

Industry Category: Here you can select the niche of your Blog or Website.

Reporting Time Zone: Here you will select timezone, based on your country.

Step 4: After filling the form click on Get Tracking Id Button.

Step 5: When you click Get Tracking Id, You will get Service Agreement of Google Analytics. Then click on I also Accept…

And click I Accept Button.

Step 6: You will get the Script (Tracking Code).

Where to put Google Analytics Code

Step 7: Copy the above code and paste into the header.php file last of the </head> tag.
